Summer Haul!

Heya, I'm still alive in case you're one of the very few people who read my two blog posts from about a year and a half ago! And otherwise hey, I'm Zoe, feel free to follow so you can get notified if I ever remember to post again. ;)

I went shopping this week and bought quite a bit, oops! I felt bad spending my money but then when I had to go pay I'd keep repeating to myself that I'd much rather have lots of pretty clothes than random pieces of paper with the queen's face printed on so really I should keep on buying.
Also, my latest purchases would be great to write about in a blog post so really I had to buy them, right?

First, I went to H&M and got this skirt which was £7.99, bargain! The style of it kind of reminds me of the skorts you have to wear for netball for some reason but I love it anyway cause I think it's quite flattering and also is a bit different to my usual skater and body-con skirts. Also at £7.99 what's not to love?!

Then, also from H&M (you'll soon learn I have a slight obsession with H&M) I got this cropped shirt. I've been looking for a shirt in these colours for ages so when I saw this one I had to buy it. I think it was about £12 which I think is pretty good especially as I'll be able to wear it loads for 6th form next year.
Next, I went to Urban Outfitters on the look out for some summery tops since I'm running really low on tops at the minute. Normally I'm one to avoid Urban Outfitters because I find myself falling in love with loads of clothes which I can never afford, but this time I managed to find this turquoise vest tops with teeny tiny zebras on which was only about £12 or £15.
Finally, I went to Hollister which, like Urban Outfitters, I looove but can never really afford to buy much! I'd been eyeing up this cropped jumper for quite a while so when I saw that it had been reduced to £15 I had to buy it! It's a really light, soft jumper so I'll be able to wear it in the evenings on holiday and also next year for 6th form.
My last purchase was this Hollister body spray in the scent Solana Beach. The Hollister body sprays are quite expensive but quite strong so a little bit goes a long way. They're really sweet so probably not everybody's cup of tea but for me they just scream out summer.

And that is all for my summer haul, looks like I won't be shopping for a while! Let me know what you've been buying this summer and what you want me to do a post on next and I'll try and post again soon!

You can never have too many jumpers!

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I wrote anything.. way to go Zoe! I am so bad at keeping things up. I made loads of New Year's Resolutions this year and I don't think I've kept any of them! I decided to drink 2 litres of water a day, for the first week or two I would force myself to drink bottles but I gave up pretty quick. Is it  just me or does drinking make you feel so much more full that eating?!

Anyway.... I got stuck on what to write about in this post so I thought of one of the things I love most.... JUMPERS!
In England it tends to be pretty cold so over time I have managed to buy quite a few jumpers! I would love to show you all of them but it would take me way too long so I picked a few. I wouldn't say they're necessarily my favourites because I tried to pick a variety but anyway, let's get started!
This jumper is from New Look, I wouldn't say it's particularly exciting but I really like the way it hangs because it's so floaty and loose especially tucked into this skirt. As its so thin I could wear it in spring or in winter with thick tights and layers. I wore this with a floral skirt from Brandy which is one of my fave skirts though as the jumper is so thin it can be tucked into disco pants easily because it doesn't bulk up.

Floral Skirt- Brandy
At the minute this is probably my favourite jumper! I bought it recently from Boohoo and have been wearing it so much because I love it! It has gold studs on the shoulders but annoyingly they keep falling of!! They're really easy to put back on but I'm not too good with small things and not loosing them so mine has one or two missing. One of the things that I love about this jumper is that unlike a lot of jumpers that have awkward necks this one has quite a high neck so it looks really good with shirts!
Studded Magenta Jumper- Boohoo
Mint Sleeveless Blouse- H&M
This is my official duvet day jumper because it's sooo comfortable! It's made out of a sweatshirt like material and has cut off edges of the bottom and neck. It's also got little black stars embroided on it which are pretty cute. I wore it with my purple frayed denim shorts from Topshop. I always seem to think that denim's stiff and un comfy but Topshop's jeans and shorts are soo soft they feel almost like leggings. It's also really easy to find a good fit!
Grey Jumper- H&M
Purple Denim Shorts- Topshop
Last but not least is my jumper from Hollister which I got this Christmas! It's knitted loosely so is really see through. For some reason one of the things that I love the most about this jumper is the sleeves! They're really long and tight at the end which I seem to really like! I wore this with my skater skirt from Miss Selfridge but you can get them anywhere and probably quite a bit cheaper as well.

Voila!
Sorry it's been so long I really will try to post again soon!
